Rebecca is an experienced educator with a passion for helping young learners succeed. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Miami and a Master’s in Teaching from Fordham University, specializing in Early Childhood and Special Education.
Her teaching career began in the New York City Department of Education, where she worked with students from Pre-K through second grade. Alongside her classroom teaching, she supported early learners in literacy and math as an Academic Intervention Service teacher.
Rebecca is trained in the Wilson Reading System and has served as a Reading Specialist, guiding students in building strong reading foundations. She now serves as Director of Learning Support at a private school, combining her teaching and leadership experience to create effective programs for students with diverse learning needs.
Families value her patient, student-centered approach, which helps children build both skills and confidence.
